Max Verstappen won the first Sprint of 2022 having passed Charles Leclerc with two laps remaining, to ensure a first-place start for Sunday’s Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.

Friday’s wet qualifying session set the grid for this Sprint, Verstappen having taken pole position over Leclerc with Lando Norris leading Kevin Magnussen off the second row. New York (CNN Business) – Call Eleven and Sheriff Hopper of “Stranger Things,” because Netflix’s world has been turned upside down.

The company reported Tuesday that it lost subscribers for the first time in more than a decade. The news shocked Wall Street and sent shares plummeting 35% Wednesday morning, wiping out $50 billion in market cap. And this was after the company’s stock had dropped more than 40% year to date.

Formula 1 gets set to race in Europe for the first time in the 2022 season at Imola for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix and Pirelli have announced what tyres the teams will be allocated for the first Sprint weekend of the season.

Imola, alongside Monza, is a home race for Pirelli and it will be their 18-inch tyre’s first taste of a Formula 1 Sprint – and for this Pirelli have announced a similar set of tyre compounds to those allocated to the teams in Saudi Arabia.

This weekend will see the teams allocated 12 sets of tyres instead of the usual 13, with the drivers set to be able to call upon the C2 (hard tyre, x2 sets), C3 (medium tyre, x4 sets) and C4 (soft tyre, x6 sets). Along with that, the teams will also be given six sets of green intermediate tyres and three sets of blue full wet tyres.  –read more–

BMW drivers will hear “engine sounds” created in cooperation with Oscar-winning film composer Hans Zimmer.

(CNN) – Electric vehicles, with their need for lots of expensive batteries, have often trended towards luxury. Electric cars from Porsche, Mercedes, and Audi have all hit the market in recent years. BMW has come out with its own electric cars like the iX and i4 and now the new i7, a battery-powered take on the brand’s new most expensive sedan.

While BMW is probably better known for its smaller 3 Series and 4 Series cars, the 7 Series is the brand’s showpiece for luxury and technology. The i7 is the electric version of a new generation of the BMW 7 Series flagship unveiled on Wednesday.

With a starting price of $119,300, the all-wheel-drive 536 horsepower i7 xDrive60 will be able to go 300 miles on a full charge, which is less than the competing Mercedes EQS or Lucid Air. It will also offer a V8-powered gasoline version, the 760i X-drive, with the same horsepower output and a starting price that’s $300 less. It will look almost identical. A gas-powered version with a 6-cylinder engine will have a starting price of $93,300.  –read more–

About 1.25 hours of brisk walking per week could yield an 18% lower risk of depression compared with not exercising, according to a new meta-analysis.

(CNN) – Get up and move — even small doses of physical activity, such as brisk walking, may substantially lower the risk of depression, according to a new data analysis.

“Most benefits are realized when moving from no activity to at least some,” the study authors wrote.

Recommended levels of exercise in the United States, according to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, include aerobic activity at moderate levels (such as a brisk walk) for 2.5 hours a week, along with a workout of all major muscle groups twice a week.  –read more–
