CNN Style | The itty-bitty bikini is back, and Dua Lipa and Kylie Jenner are fans

‘Something you can move in’: How this designer became the go-to for unconventional brides | CNN style

CNN style | ‘Something you can move in’: How this designer became the go-to for unconventional brides

In the fashion industry, where styles are cyclical and the same trends are repeatedly served up in TikTok and Instagram feeds, coming up with a unique and identifiable look is no small feat. Yet, it’s what Danish fashion designer Cecilie Bahnsen has achieved, with puffy sleeves, lace-up details, organza frills and textured jacquard being among the visual signatures of the namesake brand she founded in 2015.

For Bahnsen, developing that aesthetic has been an organic process — one that draws from her Scandinavian heritage (she was born and raised in Denmark, just outside of Copenhagen). While she later spent time working with fashion designers Erdem Moralıoğlu in London and John Galliano in Paris, growing up away from traditional fashion capitals enabled Bahnsen to “really find my voice and creativity,” the 41-year-old designer said over a video call from her studio in Copenhagen.  –read more

F1 | Norris holds off Piastri in thrilling battle to win Hungarian Grand Prix

Lando Norris has won the Hungarian Grand Prix after holding off a thrilling late-race challenge for the lead from McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri, the Briton having made an alternative strategy work in his favour to take victory.

Polesitter Charles Leclerc had made a strong start to hold P1 when the race got underway, allowing the Ferrari driver to build up a steady lead over Piastri in P2 during the opening stages of the race – a position he maintained amid the first round of pit stops, despite Piastri’s attempt to undercut his rival.  –read more

He tried building smartphones in the US over a decade ago. He has advice for companies trying it today | CNN Business

CNN Business | He tried building smartphones in the US over a decade ago. He has advice for companies trying it today

In 2013, Motorola tried to claw its way into a bigger share of a smartphone market dominated by Apple and Samsung with four words: Made in the USA.

“There was a segment of customers that said, ‘Hey, if you produce products in the United States, I’m more likely to consider them,” Dennis Woodside, the former CEO of Motorola and current CEO of enterprise software service provider Freshworks, told CNN.

F1 | Lewis Hamilton says there’s ‘a lot going on in the background that is not great’ after saying he’s ‘useless’ at Hungarian GP

Lewis Hamilton doubled down on self-critical comments he made on Saturday after a poor finish at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.

The seven-time world champion called himself “useless” and suggested Ferrari might need to change drivers after qualifying in 12th position at the Hungaroring, with teammate Charles Leclerc qualifying on pole.

“It’s me every time. I’m useless, absolutely useless,” Hamilton told Sky Sports. “The team have no problem. You’ve seen the car’s on pole. So they probably need to change driver.”  read more
