CNN underscored | The tiny Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 keyboard lets me get work done almost anywhere

When I recently tested the new iPad 11, I found myself fortunate enough to have the Logitech Keys-To-Go 2 keyboard on hand. Even though you can type on a tablet, its giant on-screen keyboard isn’t perfect for writing more than a spare sentence or two. Yes, we love Apple’s iPads, but nobody actually wants to tap out a whole paragraph – much less an email – on even the best tablet’s glass screen.

But when most iPad keyboard cases cost $199 and up, some might just accept that typing comfortably with a tablet is too rich for your digits. That’s where the Keys-To-Go 2 fits in, as this affordable keyboard is sized to fit in practically any bag that has room for a tablet. But since plenty of keyboards look much better on paper than they feel in hand, I’ve been using the Keys-To-Go 2 for months to discover what I like (and dislike) about it. –read more–

CNN Business | Internet outages show signs of recovery as Spotify, Google and other popular online services are down for thousands of users

(CNN) — Multiple popular online services were hit by outages on Thursday afternoon, including Spotify, Discord, Google and Amazon Web Services, according to Downdetector, a website that tracks service disruptions across the web.

The disruptions came as service provider Cloudflare and Google Cloud experienced service disruptions. A Cloudflare representative told CNN that a Google Cloud outage was behind the issue and that its core services were not impacted.

“This is a Google Cloud outage,” a Cloudflare representative said in an email to CNN. “A limited number of services at Cloudflare use Google Cloud and were impacted. We expect them to come back shortly.”

The company also said on its system service dashboard that Cloudflare Workers KV, a data storage service, went offline “due to an outage of a 3rd party service.”  –read more–

CNN Entertainment | Paul McCartney and other stars pay tribute to Brian Wilson

(CNN) — “God Only Knows” how respected Brian Wilson was for his talent.

The Beach Boy, whose death at the age of 82 was announced Wednesday, drew online tributes.

Paul McCartney shared a series of photos of Wilson, at least one of which was taken by McCartney’s late wife Linda McCartney, writing, “Brian had that mysterious sense of musical genius that made his songs so achingly special.”

“The notes he heard in his head and passed to us were simple and brilliant at the same time. I loved him, and was privileged to be around his bright shining light for a little while,” the caption read. “How we will continue without Brian Wilson, ‘God Only Knows’. CNN Science | Look up to see June’s full strawberry moon, the Milky Way and multiple planets

(CNN) — June’s full moon, nicknamed the strawberry moon, will shine brightly on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

The moon will be at its fullest at 3:44 a.m. ET Wednesday but will still appear bright and low in the east after sunset on Tuesday, as well as low in the west opposite the sunrise on Wednesday morning, per EarthSky.

The summer solstice falls this month, occurring on June 20, which means that the sun typically appears higher in the sky and moon seems closer to the horizon because the celestial bodies are positioned on opposite sides of Earth.

But this will also be the lowest full moon visible from the Northern Hemisphere in decades due to a phenomenon called a major lunar standstill, according to EarthSky. The standstill, when the moon is at its northernmost or southernmost point, occurs because the moon’s orbit is slowly dragged around in an 18.6-year cycle by the gravitational pull of the sun. The phenomenon is referred to as a standstill because the moon appears to stop changing direction during this time, even though it’s still moving in orbit, according to the Griffith Observatory. –read more–

(CNN) — Carlos Alcaraz mounted an extraordinary comeback to win the men’s final at Roland Garros on Sunday, defeating world No. 1 Jannik Sinner 4-6, 6-7 (4), 6-4, 7-6 (3), 7-6 (2).

In the longest final in tournament history, the Spaniard demonstrated incredible resolve to fend off three championship points for Sinner in the fourth set and somehow go on to win in a fifth-set tiebreaker, the first ever time that any man has pulled off such a feat at Roland Garros, according to broadcaster TNT Sports.

Five and a half hours after he faced Sinner’s first serve of the match, Alcaraz faced the Italian’s last, playing a terrific passing shot down the line before dropping to the floor as much of the raucous crowd at Court Philippe-Chatrier celebrated a victory it would never forget. –read more–
