No matter the number of days you’re logging in remotely, those work-from-home days are a crucial part of your work week. I treasure the days I work from home, partly because I’ve made my home office setup functional, comfortable and tailored to my needs. But creating that kind of productive and professional space was no small task.
You could opt for a simple desk mat to elevate the look of your office, or you can tailor your speaker system to your exact specifications so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while cranking out work. In search of some inspiration, I tapped the CNN Underscored team to see what my colleagues are using on their remote days. Every comedian brings a different flavor to hosting an award show: Jimmy Kimmel put politics front and center at the Oscars, while Golden Globes host Nikki Glaser wasn’t afraid to get a little raunchy… and both handed out barbs to various famous attendees.
But Nate Bargatze – who will host the Emmys for the first time this Sunday – prefers to keep things clean.
“We will make jokes, so I’m going to fit along with what award shows do and make fun of the situation – but I’ll make fun of myself as well. Ralph Lauren, however, is not just any designer. A real icon of American Fashion, he’s now approaching almost six decades in business, not a milestone to be stiffed at. And even now, 58 years on, he’s still at the forefront of the industry: just a few hours before his show, the CFDA announced Ralph Lauren on the shortlist for its womenswear designer of the year awards 2025 — an accolade he’s already won nine times –read more–
New York — Oracle, a large but generally sleepy cloud-computing company, just had an absolutely bonkers day on Wall Street.

The catalyst wasn’t a flashy product rollout or a surprise earnings beat — in fact, Oracle’s quarterly revenue and profit came in below Wall Street’s expectations Tuesday evening.
Instead, the fire came from Oracle’s outlook for the next few years, which, if it pans out, would cement the company as a power player in artificial intelligence. That’s a big “if,” though — especially given that the bulk of Oracle’s rosy outlook hinges on revenue from one major customer, the unprofitable OpenAI, according to the Wall Street Journal. –read more–
