The result: an extraordinary concession from a $4.5 trillion corporation that will give the United States a percentage of every high-end AI chip sold in China.

The deal, which AMD also signed for some of its chips, could split the difference between two competing Trump administration goals: maintain America’s AI dominance while securing a critical trade agreement with China. CNN style | ‘Something you can move in’: How this designer became the go-to for unconventional brides

In the fashion industry, where styles are cyclical and the same trends are repeatedly served up in TikTok and Instagram feeds, coming up with a unique and identifiable look is no small feat. Yet, it’s what Danish fashion designer Cecilie Bahnsen has achieved, with puffy sleeves, lace-up details, organza frills and textured jacquard being among the visual signatures of the namesake brand she founded in 2015.

For Bahnsen, developing that aesthetic has been an organic process — one that draws from her Scandinavian heritage (she was born and raised in Denmark, just outside of Copenhagen). While she later spent time working with fashion designers Erdem Moralıoğlu in London and John Galliano in Paris, growing up away from traditional fashion capitals enabled Bahnsen to “really find my voice and creativity,” the 41-year-old designer said over a video call from her studio in Copenhagen.  –read more–

F1 | Norris holds off Piastri in thrilling battle to win Hungarian Grand Prix

Lando Norris has won the Hungarian Grand Prix after holding off a thrilling late-race challenge for the lead from McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri, the Briton having made an alternative strategy work in his favour to take victory.

Polesitter Charles Leclerc had made a strong start to hold P1 when the race got underway, allowing the Ferrari driver to build up a steady lead over Piastri in P2 during the opening stages of the race – a position he maintained amid the first round of pit stops, despite Piastri’s attempt to undercut his rival.  –read more–
