Bottas Wins in Japan; 6th Straight Constructor's Title for Mercedes-AMG

After starting in Row 2 ahead of the all Ferrari lockout on Row 1, Valtteri Bottas for Mercedes-AMG starts the race by overtaking both Ferraris before Turn 1 and goes on to win the FORMULA 1 JAPANESE GRAND PRIX 2019.  Sebastian Vettel for Ferrari, who started on Pole finished 2nd and Lewis Hamilton for Mercedes-AMG finished 3rd.  --more--

Lights out and Turn 1.

It's Lights Out with the Ferraris in Row 1 and the Mercedes-AMG cars in Row 2.

Mercedes-AMG's Valtteri Bottas makes an outside move to overtake Sebastian Vettel's Ferrari. Both teams started on Pirelli's Soft compound tires.

After overtaking Vettel Bottas starts to angle his car to defend his new position heading towards Turn 1.

Bottas completes the overtake and the block of Vettel preparing for Turn 1. Lewis Hamilton in the other Mercedes-AMG car positions his car on the inside of Charles Leclerc in the other Ferrari to attempt an overtake before Turn 1.

It's Bottas, Vettel, Leclerc, Verstappen for Red Bull and Hamilton.
