Hamilton Wins for the 8th Time in Hungary for his 3rd  Straight Mercedes-AMG's Lewis Hamilton wins the FORMULA 1 HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2020, this is his eighth time winning in Hungary his 3rd straight win in Hungary.  Hamilton started on Pole for the 90th time.  Before the race started the Red Bull Racing Honda team had to do an emergency repair on Max Verstappen's car that received damage after Verstappen left the track and hit a wall during warm up laps damaging his front left suspension.  --more--

The field lines up for the Formation Lap, based on the track conditions at the start of the race, all teams are starting on Intermediates (green) or Full Wets (blue).

Something that you don't see everyday, Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean of Haas Ferrari are pitting to change tire compounds, after the Formation Lap, before the race even starts, to get on a level playing field with most of the other teams that are starting on Intermediates (green).

Mercedes-AMG started the race with its 65th front row lock out, Lewis Hamilton takes advantage of starting on Pole and is in front for the long run down to Turn 1 in Hungary.  His teammate Valtteri Bottas gets overtaken by the Ferraris.  Right before lights out Bottas noticed an indicator light on his dashboard light that distracted him.
